Luke

Luke Millam started vaulting his senior year in high school and quickly improved to 13’3” in just a couple of months. Coaches soon started contacting AKPV because of his athletic potential - he was the Alaska State Champion in tennis and is quite tall - coming in at over 6 feet 6 inches.

Luke was accepted into Berkley in Engineering. Luke was able to contact the track coach at UC Berkley, and he is now a member of their track team. He red-shirted his freshman year and is now competing as a sophomore.

Luke has a twin sister who also vaulted for the Alaska Pole Vault Club. She is now the president of the track club at the University of Southern California.
