Owen

Owen Averett started pole vaulting with the Alaska Pole Vault Club as a senior in high school. Upon graduation, Owen attended Sacramento State for a year and later returned to Alaska. He is currently a student at the University of Fairbanks and a fishing guide during the summer.

Owen enjoys jumping and comes to the club 2-3 times per week. He is working towards higher bars and is making steady progress.
